Tenant FAQs

When is rent due?

Your rent is always due on the first day of the month. If your rent is not received by our office on the 5th day of the month then your account will automatically be charged a late fee of 5%. This late fee amount is due with your rent payment.

How do I pay my rent?

Paying rent is easy by using our Online Tenant Portal. You may pay either by major credit cards, debit cards, or bank transfers via ACH.

How do I report a needed repair?

It’s easy, email “Maintenance Request” to One Village or text 919.213.1623. If you have an after-hours emergency, when you call the One Village line, you will be connected with an after-hours person who can assist. This is for PROPERTY THREATENING EMERGENCIES ONLY, not regular maintenance calls.

What is considered an emergency?

An emergency is defined as a maintenance problem that will cause a safety hazard to residents, or imminent damage to property, so that fixing it cannot wait until the next business day. Some emergencies include:

Fire/ Smoke- exit the home, call 911, then call One Village

Gas/ Carbon Monoxide- exit the home, call the gas company, then call One Village

Water Leak/ broken pipe- close the main water shutoff valve then call One Village
